Creativity and You

Lately, I was just thinking about creativity and its elements, as well as their importance in life.

Creativity may not be spontaneous, nor gratifying with immediate benefits. However, it is a collection of assembled ideas suggesting a new way/solution in your life.

Like all solutions do not apply to same problems, nor all problems get solved with same solutions. Discovering a new path, may not be a solution to your existing problems in life. However, finding new paths, may make you tread over different challenges and all together find you a different perspective for solving existing problems in your life.

That’s it.

Why is that companies look for a new idea, when they fail trying all means to figure out old problems. Moreover, inventing an idea never always means giving up on all that you have gained so far. An intrinsic fear does keep us away from venturing into new paths/ideas/ways. However, creativity is not about tapping your fear at trying something new, nor is it like an R&D trial-and-run method. Creativity is a sure shot answer to all new elements that may come in your life. It is a far-sighted fruit, which you may only gain, without aiming for, yet only through your out-of-the-box approaches.

Is Creativity Random?

It’s hard to tell. However, everything has a logic, and logic lies at the heart of creativity too. However, the process in which this logic is compiled is UNKNOWN and HIDDEN to the very logic which lies at the heart of it. Creativity is like a stitch, that you give to your already known facts and figures to gain an insight, which is uncommon to the known approaches that you have been making so far.

Is it essential?

Of course yes. Imagine, there would have been no inventions and discoveries without creativity. The day when Fire was conquered by apes..the day when wheel was discovered, the day when agriculture was discovered, the day when medicines were discovered….all this is for sure, creativity products. Its not like apes were after a solution and they hit upon these ideas…they bore it as ‘creativity’…and It just happened..same can with you. You may not be known to your abilities and solutions, however, taking that plunge in new direction, based on a collection of ideas and known facts, may bore you something unique, something different, something creative, which could possibly change your course of life.

Is Creativity Over-Hyped?

Who the f*** am I to answer that. Why don’t you find it yourself. Atleast, don’t answer it without trying it yourself. Come out of that shelve which many of us create for ourselves. Of course, don’t get yourself killed, but peeking out for finding new is no sin.. Is it?

What if I lose?

Lose what? Have you not heard about change? Can you control change? Are you God?

If you ask these questions, then it can clear out, that change is not in your control. You cannot control external factors that affect your living. Adaption is an evolution, not a stagnant process. So, change is not in your happens without your will… Always.

So, taking that step..will it really make you a loser?

Think about it, again who the f*** am I to answer.

The original purpose of this blog was promoting city cycling and popularizing urban green belt corridors, which it did for it's first one and a half year, since the year of it's launch - 2014. Now-a-days, that is, since the last two years, I haven't been city commuting on my bike, thanks to my city earning the world's most air polluted region title. And thanks to the redesigning of City roads, those are forked under construction since last six months, loosing a green cover of a whooping 9,100+ trees and the rising construction dust hazards. And lastly thanks to El nino of 2015 and El nina of 2016. I don't know if I have missed any other reason. The theme of the blog, hence, changed, into a bit of my own ramblings covering topics, such as - my travel blogging, Social issues in India, Climate change & biodiversity conservation.
