Coca-cola, Nestlé Maggi, Patanjali Amla juice cannot all go wrong at adding MSG, Pesticides, Mercury & Lead in your mouth.
It’s our mother India’s water womb.
We poisoned her. We contaminated her. We watched it silently when the e-waste was being disposed. We watched it silently when the rivers that recharge ground water where being contaiminated with kumkum (red lead & mercury sulphide), our house sewage & industrial wastes.
How can possibly our sins go unnoticed? We feed her poison and now its her time to feed it back into the guts & lungs of our children.
So what, if we can always find a sacrificial lamb like Coke, Maggi or Pantanjali through stringent lab tests that have been standardised for them, we should never point fingers to our ancestry and us.
Ha ha ha
Look at us!
We are ready to gulp-in heavy MSG (one of the most abundant naturally found non-essential amino acid), hard water from the borewell, mercury, lead and God knows all the metal-salts that we may never possibly think-off, by chomping at a local fast-food corner joint, and yet feel safe, but not so when the lab-tested products of the branded manufacturers turn positive, whose only sin were that they used our resources to wash and process their food with the same blind faith as we do, each day.
Time to wake?
But why bother?
We don’t want to change. We only want names to blame, and fingers to point to, isn’t it?
So relax, chill, have a sip from your Kent RO and yet dream about sustainability. Dream about a world that will soon have more trees like chickens’ out of no where. Dream about your children brooding on herbal products such as – soaps, shampoos, conditioners, serums, facewash, lip balms, hair styling gels etc etc. The day won’t be far when our kids may take this heriditary gifted craze a step ahead, by say – using herbal condoms in near future!
Think green. Think peace. Think everything, but not anything that can pinch you even by a little.
Why the pinch? Why us? When we are so good at staying blind to our mistakes and so good at pointing the fingers.
Long live human madness, the sustainability.
Long live our good thoughts, long live good stuffs, long live products, long live industries, long live commerce…
Everything but nature, viva la vilda!
